Young Thug Thrown Back Into Jail After Failing Court-Order Drug Test
Recall that the 27-year-old was hit with eight felonies stemming from a September 2017 arrest after having his bond revoked by the courts.
Young Thug is back in jail, the DeKalb County Sheriffs’ Office database has confirmed.
Pitchfork further reports that the rapper whose real name is Jeffery Williams was booked once again Thursday morning after he failed the court-mandated drug test prior to a scheduled arraignment, which was also set for Thursday.
Recall that the 27-year-old was hit with eight felonies stemming from a September 2017 arrest after having his bond revoked by the courts. Charges against Thugger include possession of marijuana, hydrocodone, methamphetamine, and a firearm.
The legal issues continue to mount for Thug, who turned himself into Georgia authorities following a grand jury warrant being issued in his name back on Sept. 11. Thugger posted bond and was released two days later.
Only one month prior, the YSL artist was arrested along with members of his entourage on felony gun charges after law enforcement crashed his Slime Language release birthday party at a Hollywood Dave & Buster’s.
