Steph Curry is showing encouraging signs of recovery, according to the MRI test scans faxed to team headquarters this morning.

The prognosis is that Curry will have to sit out a few more days, effectively ruling him out for Saturday night’s contest against the Brooklyn Nets. Coach Kerr commented on the situation.

The MRI looked good in terms of not being too serious,But he’s not going to play (Saturday). It’s kind of something we’re going to evaluate over the next few days. He’s still sore, and it’s a strained groin, basically, is the injury. But the MRI was encouraging, so it will be kind of a day-to-day thing.”

Steph suffered the injury in Thursday night’s loss to the surprising Milwaukee Bucks, when he tried to thwart Eric Bledsoe movement towards the basket. Curry was then immediately rushed for treatment, where he received his MRI scans.

Up until this morning, management had no inkling as to the severity of Curry’s injury. Warriors’ fans can breathe a collective sigh of relief in knowing the injury is non-serious.

The true “Warrior” he is, Stephen is reportedly bummed out that he’s been ordered to rest his body until a determined date. The Golden State Warriors stand a good chance of keeping pace without Curry in the lineup.

Tune in on Saturday for updates on his condition.
