Cassper Nyovest Makes History Again, Fills Up Largest Stadium In Africa | PHOTOS
Out of FNB stadium’s 75,000 capacity, Cssper Nyovest sold whopping 68,000 tickets to fill up the stadium individually
South African rapper Cassper Nyovest should be applauded for his latest electrifying performance at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, December 2, 2017.
While praising the multiple award-winning rapper, it is equally important to celebrate his new height of being the first ever South African rapper to literarily fill up the largest stadium in Africa.
Cassper Nyovest had earlier in 2015 successfully filled up the The dome, a stadium of 20,000 capacity, and he sold 20,000 tickets, which was the biggest turn out for a music concert as at that time, just a year later, the ‘Doc Shebeleza’ rapper returned to stun the world.
The rapper again in 2016, announced his intention of selling out Orlando Stadium of 40,000 capacity, doubling the Dome, and surprisingly, he did!
Out of FNB stadium’s 75,000 capacity, Cssper Nyovest sold whopping 68,000 tickets to fill up the stadium individually, without the help of any international artiste to boost the turnout. This figure excludes the total number of concertgoers who were outside the stadium and could not get in as gates were already closed.
Done and dusted, the rapper didn’t also fail to leave a thank you note for the world on his official photo sharing social media, Instagram account. “History was made!!! Soccer city stadium was filled!!! 68000 tickets sold!!! Thank you!!! I love you!!!! God is good all the time!!! #FillUpFnbStadium,” he wrote.
