After topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart for six weeks with the Gucci Mane-assisted track “Black Beatles”, brotherly duo Rae Sremmurd caps off their successful year with a video for “Real Chill” featuring Kodak Black.
In the new visual, the dynamic duo features Kodak Black, hosts a lit holiday party, which features an array of colorful Christmas light and a plethora of twerking women. Throughout the Max-directed video, Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi are joined by Kodak to perform the track during a smoky house party.
Swae raps, “My homies the real deal, we smokin’ that kill-kill/ She shake it, it feel real/ The paper flowin’ still, now that b***h wanna chill/ And the s**t stay chill.” Elsewhere in the video, Kodak talks about some of the criminal activities he’s engaged in, spitting, “She be tellin’ me ‘baby boy don’t steal’/ I ain’t listen to her cause I still steal/ One snap in, I put some racks in my grill/ No weapons allowed, I brought my strap in here still.”
The visual was filmed in recent weeks after Kodak was released from jail in Florence County, South Carolina after posting $100,000 bail. According to Max, “Real Chill” visual was shot at an Airbnb in Miami, the same place where Kodak filmed his “There He Go” video.
