‘You’ll Always be my Angel!’ Basketmouth Wishes Late Mum A Happy 60th Birthday

Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, better known by his stage name Basketmouth took to social media to wish his late mother a happy posthumous birthday today.

Sharing a series of pictures to celebrate what would have been her 60th year on earth including some where she is flanked by family members and well wishers, the Glo ambassador and one of Nigeria’s biggest comedy exports who is obviously still grappling with the huge loss of October 3, noted that his late mum will always be his angel.

“Happy 60th Birthday Mummy. You’ll always be my angel and you belong where you are right now…..with the man that gave me life through you,” he wrote.

The pain behind the words is evident and fans have urged the funnyman to remain strong whilst dealing with the irreparable loss.

Basketmouth has not minced words describing coping with what he has tagged the worst experience he ever had to go through while thanking family, friends and well wishers for the outpouring of love and support in series of emotional posts in the last one week.

And though his mother has joined the angels, his love for her and her presence in his life is no less diminished.
