VJ Adams talks about his music career amongst other interests with Pulse.
On the international spotlight Nigerian and African music is getting, VJ Adams says international labels have always reckoned with Nigerian music, and were once here in Nigeria to sign artistes properly as told by Shina Peters.
He also recalls King Sunny Ade performing to an all white audience in 1989 advocating that the international audience has long been receptive of Nigerian and African music.
He talks about Sunny Ade mentioning that signing to a record label should not be a problem, it should be a norm, he added that if your music is great they would be willing to work with you.
The VJ also said it is not only good for Nigerian music but African music as well and expects the likes of Cassper Nyovest and Diamond Platnumz to also snatch deals like Wizkid, Ayo Jay and Davido have done.
The media personality also talks venturing into other things asides presenting, including music, movies and fashion.
He says you have only one life to live, so if you do have the talent, by all means go for your many passions.
The screen personality also discusses his venturing into music and the average Nigerian’s perception about a known public figure such as a musician now trying to do movies as well and the strategy he plans to use to woo the Nigerian music lover into accepting him as an artiste.
