Music category of the 2017 edition of Guinness World Record has been dominated by Justin Bieber who sets eight (8) new records due to the success of his latest album, ‘Purpose.’
Justin Bieber just got his certificates which were presented to him by Guinness World Records ahead of his at one of his “Purpose World Tour” concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
According to Guinness World Records, Justin Bieber’s achievements this year includes; the most streamed track on Spotify in one week for “What Do You Mean”, the most streamed album on Spotify in one week for “Purpose”, the most simultaneous tracks on the US singles chart , the most simultaneous new entries in the Hot 100 by a solo artist and first act to occupy all top three positions simultaneously on UK singles chart.
The 22-year-old Canadian singer also has the most followers on Twitter, most viewed music channel on YouTube and most subscribers on YouTube for a musician, quite impressive.
The Guinness World Records 2017 Edition is due out on September 8, 2016
