A few years ago Facebook owned Instagram tried to buy Snapchat for $3 Billion but they declined!
So guess what IG did?
Earlier Tuesday [August 2] they introduced Instagram Stories, pretty much a clone of Snapchat Stories. Instagram Stories, like Snapchat Stories, will allow users share images and video that disappear after just 24 hours. And just like Snapchat, users can draw all over their pictures or videos, and just like the Snap they can not only choose to make their content (stories) public or private but they can also elect to only share their stories with a select portion of their followers!
Instagram has no chill and their petty level is 100! But did Snapchat just serve this clapback?
No they didn’t that’s just a fake tweet but you get the gist…
Despite having 300 million daily users Instagram has seen its growth and engagement decrease probably because they recently switched from it’s chronological feed to an algorithm based feed, a development which has not been welcomed by it’s users.
Snapchat on the other hand has more than 100 million daily active users who engage with Snapchat for 25 to 30 minutes every day.
