Drake was called upon at the recently concluded MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, August 28 to present his rumoured boo, Rihanna with her honorary award for the most coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
The ‘One Dance’ crooner who also bagged ‘Best Hip Hop Video’ of the year with his addictive ‘Hotline Bling’ music video declared his love for RiRi in his speech during the Video Vanguard award presentation.
“Most of all, we love the woman who hasn’t changed since day one. She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old. She’s one of my best friends in the world,” Drake said as he handed over Rihanna’s honorary award to her.

Rihanna also delivered energetic performance of “B!tch Better Have My Money” and “Needed Me” in a black wig with bangs, an all-black outfit and a purple fur scarf at the big night. Watch below;
