The funeral rites of football icon and former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi who passed away on the 8th of June, 2016 took place yesterday.
The ceremony started with a funeral mass at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Airport Road, Benin City, Edo State.
A novelty match was thereafter held in his memory at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
A few of the popular faces spotted at the event were Nigerian Football Federation boss, Amaju Pinnick and actor Alex Usifo.
