A few weeks after he made his debut in the Nigerian music industry with
Koko’, 16-year-old pop star, Olajiire Ayodeji Ajiboye prevalently called Jire is back with two banging tunes titled ‘King of the Hood’ and ‘Owo ni eje’.
Produced by ‘Top 2’ and mixed by Dez Beats’, both songs presents an amazing fusion of Nigerian contemporary sound, Afro -Pop and groovy feel that’s sure to take over the airwaves and the clubs.
While his first song ‘Koko’ continues to enjoy rave reviews by industry pundits, Jire who recently perform at the 12th edition of the Nigerian Telecoms Awards says, ‘the kind of response I’ve been getting from my first song has been extremely amazing. It’s only encouraged me to do more and prove that am not just a flash in the pan’.
Jire is one of the youngest recording artistes in Nigeria, he was born in July 1999 to Otunba and Mrs Biodun Ajiboye, Jire attended Onward Nursery and primary school Surulere, International school, Ibadan and Christ Redeemers Secondary School where he’s just wrapped up with his school leaving certificate exams.
