Ace music producer, ID Cabasa is one of the few iconic producer we have in Nigeria Music Industry. Clearly, with his experience, he knows the nook and cranny of music.
The reserved and humble persona took to his twitter page on July 20, 2016, to give Nigerian musicians a simple, yet wise word to think about.
In his tweet, he talked about Nigerian artistes winning the “almighty Grammy award,” which is almost impossible due to the type of music most of our singers give the audience to consume.
It is clear enough that for any song to win a Grammy, the content and acceptance of such song must be world class and unique. But, what’s the stand of Nigerian artistes when their songs are being reviewed?
According to the veteran music producer, ID Cabassa, “Every thought is a seed. If you plant pangolo music, don’t count on harvesting a Grammy!” Grammy is a dream for most Nigerian acts, but what they put out as songs are not good enough to get them the award.
