Top Nigerian music act, Davido is one of the few musicians to emerge from a wealthy home, with absolute parental support to fund their music.
When Davido decided to purse a career in music, the singer was reportedly given a huge some money by his father, Dr Adeleke to fund his first music projects in Nigeria. Following this, Davido adopted additional name, O.B.O which means ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ in Yoruba Language and ‘Son of a Rich Man’ in English Language.
No doubt, Davido’s father is a multi-millionaire and his son is proud of him. Recently, his father’s institution, “Adeleke University” held their graduation ceremony, the “Aye” singer made a shocking revelation via social media, showered praises on his father for his rare kind gesture.
According to Davido, Dr Adeleke granted more than half of the 200 students who graduated from Adeleke university on Monday, July 18, 2016 scholarships.
The singer took to instagram to share the image below with some words of exaltation.
“TOO PROUD OF MY FATHER!! HAD GRADUATION FOR ABOUT OVER 200 STUDENTS YESTERDAY AT ADELEKE UNIVERSITY AND OVER HALF OF THEM WERE ON SCHOLARSHIP!!! GOD BLESS YOU FOR ALL OF US SIR!!! LOVE YOU TOO MUCH!!! ❤️❤️❤️,” excited Davido reaffirms that he’s proud of his dad.
