Rita Ora Finally Dumps Jay Z’s Roc Nation, Inks Deal with Atlantic Records
After terminating her contract and settling out of court with Jay Z’s Roc Nation label , Rita Ora has finally inked a new recording contract with Atlantic Records; a subsidiary of Warner Music. The 25 year-old who is set to release new music, excitedly shared the news on instagram.
In a statement released by Atlantic Records’ UK president, Ben Cook, he commended the Brit’s talent, expressing his delight at the new signee joining the family.
“Rita is a rare talent and a true global star,” he said. “First and foremost she’s a great singer who’s hugely passionate about music and I’m delighted to welcome her to Atlantic Records. We look forward to getting in the studio with her and making an incredible album.”
Ora also expressed happiness in a statement according to rap-up.com.
“Music is my first love and I am looking forward to getting my new songs released,” said Ora in a statement. “I’m thankful to my new Atlantic Records family for all their support and encouragement. The next chapter is going to be incredible.”
