Adeola Soares Married A Year Ago, Died After Child Birth | How Friends Reacted To Her Death
Death is nothing fascinating especially when the deceased is young and selfless. I will try as much as possible to make this less emotional.
Personally I was shocked when I got the news of Adeola Soares’ death, I had to hold back and not offend God with my emotional reactions, it was pathetic.
She announced her baby’s birth on Sunday afternoon via facebook, while friends were rejoicing, she was fighting for her life, I was told she had complications.
The happy comments were rolling in for her, surprisingly no one responded to the comments only for her death to be announced on Monday June 13, 2016.
She announced her child birth, the next day, her death was made public by someone else.
I told Morolake, “Let her rest in peace please,” it isn’t funny, I understand how hard it is to bear, after talking to a dear friend on Sunday night and wake up to her death news the next morning.
The longest chat I’ve ever had this year was with Morolake on Adeola’s death, I never knew they were so close, I had to hide my emotions about her death to console tearful Morolake, what could I have done? I had to play to good cop.
Updates on social media were rolling in from friends, the truth still remains, Soares was exactly how Tosin Clegg described her; “she was a lovely soul, sweet and full of life. Selfless and beautiful in all her dealings.”
Amidst heavy heart, one of her friends squealed: “Now I am hearing that she actually gave birth Friday but we chatted Thursday. I just got a call from a third friend that around 12.01am this morning Adeola died…. just like that. What really happened I don’t know I don’t understand. She only got married last year…. just last year big society wedding. Now she left the baby girl.”
Another friend wrote; “Alhamdulillah….. Glory be to God the Lord of the world, the all-wise all-merciful. The master of planners. He has blessed us with a beautiful child from amongst us. Indeed we are grateful. For whatever calamity befalls us, we dwell not on the negative but positive deus, for indeed he is the most merciful. Please join me in saying so many words of prayers for my friend and our beloved child, for we are indeed grateful that He (God) the best of all planners, choose to bless us with our beloved child whilst taking our beloved friend. Indeed we are grateful to you o Lord. Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah robilialameen”
Who can we blame? We all have to accept she’s gone, yes she’s gone, something worse than death could have happened, so, let’s still give glory to the Lord, pray for her husband, the child and the rest of her family.
May her soul Rest in Peace. Amen.
